First rescue: I was standing in the beach area. Whoever is in the beach is supposed to run and be the secondary rescuer whenever the whistle blows. The whistle blew in the main pool and all those gay little kids from that stupid group would not get out!! So I had to stay and get rid of them all. by the time the kids got out, the rescue was over. Some kid with the wrong wristband went active.
Second rescue: I was on the south side of the main pool. 30 minutes after the first rescue. The guards were rotating at the dive tank. When we rotate at dive, none of the kids are allowed to jump. We make them stand about four feet from the ladders for the boards. Our guard Jemaila was getting down to let Sydney go up. Some 12 year old went halfway up the high dive, realized he was being yelled at, climbed down and fell, smacking his head on the deck. By the time Jemaila got to him he stood back up, and he was too short for us to back board him. We called EMS, had to call his grandma. It was a full twenty minutes before we could even let the kids back in the water.
Third rescue: During the second rescue. On the north side of main, one of the guards was yelling at kids to get out. One of those stupid group girls, also wrong wristband, let go of the wall and went active. Delaney had to go in and grab her.
This is why groups are bad!
Parents: just teach your kids to swim! Swimming lessons are not that expensive!!!
